Games are an alternative to tiring lectures, which can be used to introduce a product or teach difficult-to-understand concepts, and often the player is not even aware that he or she is playing a game. Participants will have a chance to find out what educational games and game elements can be used to train and motivate employees or clients, build their attitudes and guide them towards a specific action. During the workshop, everyone will have the opportunity to try their hand at creating a prototype of their game.

Within the new EU funding period, the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (MEPRD) will implement Smart Municipalities, a new activity, which will provide an opportunity for municipalities to become customers and users of innovations, streamlining and modernizing their services in new and innovative ways. Regional and global development challenges such as declining population, a low share of innovative companies in the regions, the “ageing” of the existing municipal services, high costs of municipal services and the challenges caused by climate change call for new ways for municipalities to become more efficient, modern and responsive to the various needs of the population.
