LOOP GAME for a Local Lore Enthusiast is an engaging interactive cognitive game in nature, which combines active recreation with exploring Kocēni Municipality.
Place of the game: Without attachment to a specific place. It can be played simultaneously anywhere in the world. Mobile internet coverage is required.
The loop game takes place using smart devices and moving in nature: we walk in loops and solve questions: task loops. The game can be played at any time, with participants (teams) using with their smart devices and a special app. The preferred team is a household that can participate in the event from and around their place of residence. The game takes place in the form of a walk where the participants receive a new question (task) every 100 metres on their phone. During the game, various attractive photos are also taken, which then remain at the disposal of the participants.
The content of the game consists of various cognitive and explanatory questions, facts, video and audio materials, twisted in “loops” or witty brain teasers.
Topic: Kocēni Municipality (culture, nature, sports, history, personalities, etc.).
The main target audience of the game: residents of Kocēni Municipality and tourists.
Other target audiences: schoolchildren (the game can be designed as an erudition competition, for example, between teams of households of the pupils in a class or in the context of the whole school, determining the most active class).
Goal of the game: To promote active recreation and to interactively enlighten, educate and acquaint tourists and other target audiences with the natural, historical, traditional and cultural values of Kocēni Municipality. To create an interactive, exciting mind game that would serve as a tool for attracting tourism and as historical memory of Kocēni Municipality.
Innovation: A creative and adapted idea of how to organize events remotely, combining the cultural, sports and tourism sectors.
