A new multifunctional Metalworking training laboratory is about to be opened in Valmiera Vocational Training Center, where practical training in mecatronics, mechanics and metalworking, welding, telemechanics and logistics, as well as computerized numerical control (CNC) training will take place. The laboratory has been made to create a unified training complex in the metalworking sector in Valmiera.

Initiative Valsts#196 is organizing a seminar for business executives, team leaders, HR and department managers on one of the hot topics – data and data analytics. In the seminar, we'll talk about how to get to data-driven decisions, how to build enterprise analytical processes, and what tools to use for data collection, because – as we know – today's dynamic business environment often doesn’t allow to experiment with decision-making on assumptions.

The purpose of the experience exchange tour is to introduce entrepreneurs from Beverina County to entrepreneurs in the surrounding neighborhoods. With those entrepreneurs who operate according to their own "formula of success", focusing on different types of business that are not typical of the rural area or non-traditional solutions of traditional industries.
