During the Vidzeme Innovation Week this year, we will also discuss innovations in the provision of social services. Listening to industry experts and opinion leaders, we will try to answer the questions:
How good social services are formed?
Who initiates them?
Why do some of these services evolve and some “die”?
Does technology help deliver social services? In what way? /Exactly how?
How open are companies and organizations in the industry in implementing new and innovative services?
Also during the conference, we will look for the best answers to questions related to municipal services created in the framework of deinstitutionalization projects - social rehabilitation centers, daycare centers, specialized workshops:
What would be the content to fill these services with?
What form of service provision should the municipality choose - outsourced service provider or provide services with municipal human resources?
What important preconditions should be considered when organizing and delivering services to different target groups?
What to avoid when developing new services?
Social service providers (both companies and NGOs), employees of social services, executive directors of municipalities, members of social affairs committees, representatives of interest organizations and other interested specialists are invited to participate in the conference.
The conference takes place within the framework of the project “Vidzeme iekļauj” (Measure 1.3 of the Joint Action Plan for the Communication on Deinstitutionalization.).
