Every place, like a human being, has a mystery, but the idea of a mystery arises only if we like this place. The belief that is born of the invisible signs is a mystery, and the secret captures the mind. ”(Talis Tisenkopfs, 2008)

Life in the city is a paradox, with relatively more polluted air, more strangers, more loneliness, a cost of living, and yet, despite this, people dream of living in the city. The city is also the place where Valmiera and the surrounding people go to study and most likely will work in the future. For business and technology to develop, Valmiera needs to attract talented people who live and work in Valmiera, in its surroundings, in other regions, and in other countries. The city can be spoken from a socio-economic point of view - population, population, economic activity, income, but the lifestyle is just as important.
